Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a holistic energetic treatment that balances the body's natural healing system. A craniosacral therapist can relieve pain, tension, and emotional strain during a relaxing session. Craniosacral therapy releases restrictions caused by long-term, acute or everyday stresses on the body and mind.

How does Craniosacral Therapy work?
There is an innate rhythm in every body that corresponds to the creation and resorption of cerebrospinal fluid in the central nervous system. Disruptions or restrictions in any part of the body can impact the nervous system and hinder optimal health. A craniosacral therapist is trained to recognize and release these restrictions, resolving physical discomforts and balancing emotions.
Where does Craniosacral Therapy take place?
Craniosacral therapy is done in a calm atmosphere, using only the lightest touch over clothes. An adult or child generally lies facing up on a table, while a baby can be held or nursed by a parent, or cradled on the table by the practitioner. Craniosacral sounds like a treatment only done on the head and sacrum (back of pelvis), but the cerebral spinal fluid rhythm can be felt and released everywhere in the body, so can heal restrictions anywhere, like tight abdominal fascia after surgery, around ankle tightness after a sprain, in or near organs like the kidneys or lungs, or along the vertebrae of the spine, for example. CST is a whole-body healing approach, worth trying for just about any issue!
What are the benefits of Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy can relieve pain, including but not limited to: TMJ, migraines/headaches, joint pain, neuralgia, injuries, chronic discomfort, insomnia, digestive issues, and depression/anxiety/PTSD. CST also offers support in concussion and trauma recovery as well as emotional/nervous system balancing.
Does Craniosacral Therapy work with babies and children?
Yes. In babies, CST helps with colic, feeding and digestive problems, torticollis, tongue-tie/lip-tie, body tension, and other physical concerns. Mood, behavioral and physical issues like headaches and injuries in children and teenagers can be greatly improved or resolved with craniosacral therapy.
