Who We Are

Living Nourish (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a Washington State licensed massage therapy and craniosacral bodywork practice. This notice explains how we collect, use, and share personal information through our website livingnourish.com and in connection with our services—both online (e.g., booking) and offline (e.g., paper intake forms completed in person or printed at home and brought to your appointment).


We are a HIPAA-covered entity. Patient information maintained in our HIPAA systems is protected health information (PHI) and handled in accordance with HIPAA. Washington’s My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) generally does not apply to HIPAA PHI. If we ever collect any non-HIPAA consumer health data online, we will comply with applicable law and update this notice.

Information We Collect

Website & Communications

  • Contact details you provide if you reach out (e.g., name, email, phone, message).

  • Technical data via essential/functional cookies only, to keep the site secure and working (see Cookie Notice).

Booking (online)

  • Appointments are booked online through Vagaro, under a HIPAA compliant BAA. We receive appointment details (service type, date/time, preferences) as needed to manage your booking.

  • No payment is collected through our website.

Intake & Records (offline)

  • Patients complete a paper intake form (either printed from our PDF or filled in at the clinic). These forms, and any patient records, are collected, used, and filed in accordance with HIPAA.

How We Use Information

  • To schedule and deliver services; personalize care; confirm or change appointments; and communicate with you.

  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and client experience.

  • To comply with law, respond to legal requests, and protect our rights and clients.

We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate, under agreements that restrict their use of your data:

 

  • Website Platform: Wix (hosting, site operation/security).

  • Scheduling (and any online reminders/communications): Vagaro (HIPAA-compliant platform features). See Vagaro’s privacy policy: https://www.vagaro.com/pro/privacy 

  • Email/communications via Gmail.

We may also share information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Minors

We treat minors only with consent from a parent or legal guardian and in accordance with Washington State law for massage therapy treatment of minors. Parents/guardians may exercise applicable rights on behalf of their minor child (subject to legal/professional limits).

Your Choices & Rights

  • Access/Correction/Deletion (as applicable): Please contact us (see below).

  • Email Preferences: You may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time.

  • Do Not Track: We don’t respond to browser DNT signals; we limit cookies to essential operation

Security & Retention

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for a small healthcare practice (e.g., access controls, secure storage, vendor due diligence). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We retain patient records for 7–10 years since last patient contact, or longer if required by law or professional guidance, and then securely dispose of them. Other business records are kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.

Cookie Notice

We use only essential and functional cookies for site operation. Our website host (Wix) may set additional platform cookies (which can include Google measurement identifiers on wix.com) to keep the service reliable.

 

We do not run our own analytics or advertising pixels. When you use online booking, Vagaro may set its own operational cookies —see their policy at https://www.vagaro.com/pro/privacy


You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working.

We may update this notice periodically. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and post changes here.
